Training
The National center for preparation of securities market specialists is one of the first private educational institutions of Uzbekistan which started its activity in January of 1994.
The main task of the center is preparation of professionals in the field of privatization, markets of securities, real estate and commodities, evaluation and exchange activity.
The initiators of its creation were Tashkent State Economic University, Republican Stock Exchange “Toshkent” and other financial institutes known in Uzbekistan.
Associations, joint-stock companies, commercial banks, investment institutes, evaluation organizations, brokerage firms specialized in trade in exchange goods and real estate as well as organs of government teach their staff in the center. Having acquired knowledge in the center and started from the beginning many private persons became the well-known businessmen and manage the large companies and investment institutes of the country presently.
Starting from 2002 within the framework of the program of remote training in corporate management the national center of preparation of securities market specialists together with the World Bank regularly holds video conferences which allow chief executives, members of supervisory boards, scientists and economists of some countries of Eastern Europe, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to attend lectures of the leading economists and lawyers from USA, to exchange opinions concerning matters of the corporate management in the real-time operation mode by means of television bridge with Washington.
The National center for preparation of securities market specialists yearly becomes a winner of competition of the Center for coordination and control of securities market operation attached to State Property Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in nomination of “Year's the best training center of preparation of securities market specialists” and an owner of appropriate prizes.
“Operations on commodity and raw materials exchanges”. Questions concerned with operations in commodity market, peculiarities of the exchange operations, taxation, legal aspects of drawing up of the exchange contracts, including external economic contracts, customs operations, marketing, commodity research, metrology, standardization, certification and others are included in the program of the course. The lectures are given by the leading specialists of the Republican Universal Agroindustrial Exchange, the Uzbek Commodity exchange, the National center for preparation of securities market specialists. Persons who have got a certificate after finishing training and passed attestation at State Property Committee acquire a right to work as the professional participants in the exchange commodity market. The period of training – 14 days.
